School Based Programs for Students & Parents
Family Medical Center of Michigan has a team of trained and certified Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Counselors, and Social Workers here to help diagnose and manage your behavioral health concerns. We offer individual counseling appointments for students and parents/guardians. These appointments can be conducted in person, video or telephone appointments.
Our experienced staff can help with any of the issues commonly seen in school aged children including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Trauma / PTSD
- ADHD
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder
- Conduct Disorder
- Adjustment issues
- Stress Management
- Symptom Management
In addition, many have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the complications that it has had for students and families. This includes lack of socialization, coping skills, virtual learning & focusing on schoolwork from home. Our behavioral health specialists are offering telehealth appointments to help you navigate through these difficult times.
