National Health Center Week
It was amazing to connect with our wonderful patients this week during National Health Center Week! We are so thankful for our Monroe County Opportunity Program staff & volunteers and the entire Family Medical Center team! In total, we shared over 400 food boxes and met with over 80 new people. We are already looking forward to next year's extravaganza! Check out some of the highlights from the week.
Day 1
We kicked off National Health Center Week at our Adrian location. We distributed food boxes and goodie bags to 108 patients who were all understanding, patient, and grateful when the food truck was running late. We are so thankful to everyone for hanging in there with us!
Day 2
Our team spent Tuesday, August 9th meeting with residents at Paula’s House, Share the Warmth, and Touchstone Recovery to drop off hygiene kits!
Day 3
Wednesday was a great success at our Temperance location. We gave out 111 food boxes and introduced our services to 42 new people!
Day 4
On Thursday of National Health Center Week we visited our Monroe location to hand out 108 food boxes and met with 33 new people!
Day 5
We wrapped up National Health Center Week with a final day of outreach and giveaways at our Carleton location. We handed out food boxes to 89 amazing patients.
