Ensuring that our students have the support they need to thrive.” He also acknowledged the positive impact that behavioral health services have already had on students at Springbrook, thanks to the support from FMC.
Thursday, August 29, 2024: The Jets Community Health Center - Open House
The final SBHC Open House of the month took place at The Jets Community Health Center, which saw the largest turnout of the three events. Airport Community Schools Superintendent Rayan Duvall opened the event with a warm welcome, recognizing board members and elected officials in attendance. State Senator Joe Bellino, accompanied by his wife Peggy presented a Certificate of Excellence to Wage Health Clinic and The Jets Community Health Center. Additionally, Principal Craig Freestone, along with the Advisory Committee and the "Kids Who Care" group, shared their involvement in the center’s development, from naming the center to selecting its finishes. Special acknowledgments were given to FMC staff members, and the community members and students who played a vital role in making this center a reality.
We are incredibly grateful for the support and collaboration that made these openings possible. These centers are more than just facilities; they are a testament to our commitment to student health and community well-being.
