Monday, August 5, 2024: Hudson Community Health Center - School-Based Health Center Open House The week kicked off with our inaugural School-Based Health Center Open House at the Hudson Community Health Center. We were honored by the presence of Representative Andrew Fink, Hudson Mayor Mr. Schudel, Superintendent Dr. Michael Osborn, and Principal Tom Durbin. Each of these esteemed guests spoke passionately about the importance of providing School-Based Health and Mental Health services to students, highlighting the vital role these services play in supporting student well-being and academic success.
Tuesday, August 6, 2024: Adrian Location The Adrian location’s event was marked by unexpected weather challenges, including a thunderstorm and a tornado watch. Despite these conditions, the team successfully distributed all 150 packages to those in attendance, ensuring that no one left empty-handed.
Wednesday, August 7, 2024: Temperance Location In contrast to the previous day, Temperance enjoyed beautiful weather and a fantastic turnout. A total of 150 food packages were distributed, and the event was further highlighted by the addition of 20 new patients to our Food Rx program, expanding the reach of our services to those in need. We were honored to have State Representative William Bruck join us.
Thursday, August 8, 2024: Monroe Location Monroe also benefited from pleasant weather, and we experienced another successful day of patient engagement. An additional 30 patients were enrolled in the Food Rx program, demonstrating the continued demand and appreciation for our services in the community.
Friday, August 9, 2024: Carleton Location The final event of the week took place in Carleton, where we enjoyed great weather and a solid turnout. A total of 71 food packages were distributed to patients, rounding out a successful week of events.
