On Friday, August 25th we attended MCOP & The Opportunity Centers ALCC’s 3rd annual End of Summer Bash / Touch a Truck event. We were part of the Teddy Bear tent/ Health checks. Free Teddy Bears were given away and Veronica Allen did blood pressure checks on Bears & other stuffed animals. Celina Angel from our dental department as well as Toni Kits were there to offer dental exams for Teddy Bears. MCOP gave away shoes, backpacks, and school supplies. They also had a Movie Night on the lawn where they showed “Inside Out”.
