Clinical
Family Medical Center of Michigan, Inc., (FMC) is a progressive, not-for-profit community health center with more than 45 years of experience serving Monroe, southwestern Wayne and southeastern Lenawee Counties of Michigan. FMC is dedicated to quality and excellence in providing accessible, comprehensive, cost-effective primary and preventative care.
We have an excellent full time (36 hours or 40 hours per week, no late evenings or weekends) board certified family medicine Physician MD/DO opportunity in our Adrian, Michigan (Lenawee County) location and Temperance, Michigan (Monroe County). Both locations are a short distance away from Ann Arbor, Michigan Detroit, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio. Both locations have access to a variety of sports, theatre/arts, historical venues and fine dining.
Our comfortable Centers provide a range of services comprehensive accessible care including primary care, behavioral health, substance use disorder, MAT, dental and pharmacy services. We also provide school based behavioral health services.
Our physicians work closely with advanced practitioners, behavioral health clinicians and clinical and administrative support staff. We use a patient-centered medical home and team based integrated care model approach using the principles of continuous quality improvement to maintain the highest quality of care.
We provide pathways to success with our comprehensive onboarding and training program for providers.
We participate in two loan repayment programs (the National Health Service Corp and the Michigan State Loan Repayment program). Additionally, we have an internal loan repayment program for providers who may not qualify for the other two programs.
Qualifications:
- Current/Valid Michigan Medical License
- Active DEA Certification
- Current BLS/ACLS
- Bi-lingual a plus
- 1-2 years’ practice experience in an outpatient setting preferred

Optical
Family Medical Center of Michigan is a federally qualified health center in southeast Michigan. We are seeking an optometrist for fill-in work in our Adrian location. This optometrist would provide our current Optometrist with coverage during time off. Currently, our optometry clinic operates Monday through Thursday 8:30AM-4:30PM and Fridays 8:30AM-12PM with two support staff. No nights, weekends, or on-call duties. Flat daily rate offered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat ocular disease
- Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
- Recommend appropriate follow-up care and management
- Provide excellent communication and patient care
- Direct the support staff in a clear and respectful manner
Qualifications:
- Doctorate of Optometry from accredited school
- Active State of Michigan Optometry license
- Knowledge of state laws and standards governing the optometric field

Behavioral Health
We are seeking clinicians (Behavioral Health Therapists) who are passionate in working with children, adolescents, and their families.
The Behavioral Health Therapists will provide screenings, assessments, interventions, support, and psychoeducation to individuals related to mental health, substance use, emotional, behavioral, and social concerns.
We provide Office Based Services in our Temperance, Adrian, Carleton and Monroe, MI locations.
We provide School Based Services in Lenawee, Temperance and Wayne Counties, Michigan.

Dental
Family Medical Center of Michigan, a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our Carleton, Michigan dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and be proficient in various dental procedures. This role involves working closely with patients to provide high-quality dental hygiene services while ensuring their comfort and safety. The Dental Hygienist plays a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental care practices.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients of all ages, including vital signs monitoring and medical history reviews, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for patient management and documentation.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure that all dental instruments are properly sterilized and ready for use.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting, demonstrating proficiency in the following areas:
- Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Experience with EMR systems for documentation review and medical coding.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist Licensure in the state of Michigan
