FMC Celebrates United Way’s 100th Anniversary

On May 9, 2026, Family Medical Center of Michigan (FMC) was honored to be represented at the 100th Anniversary Gala of United Way of Monroe and Lenawee Counties. Held at Monroe Country Club, the event celebrated a century of service and community impact with a festive 1920s theme.

FMC Board Members Elaine Robson and Kathleen VanEtten attended the celebration, recognizing the important role United Way and its partner agencies play in supporting the health and well-being of local residents.

As healthcare providers, we understand that factors such as food security, transportation, housing, personal safety, and access to medications have a significant impact on health outcomes. Through partnerships with organizations like United Way, healthcare professionals can connect patients with community resources that address these needs and help improve overall quality of life.

United Way of Monroe and Lenawee Counties has grown from a small network of charitable organizations into a partnership of more than 35 local agencies serving our communities. Their work complements the mission of FMC by helping individuals and families access support beyond the walls of the healthcare setting.

Congratulations to United Way of Monroe and Lenawee Counties on 100 years of service. Family Medical Center of Michigan is proud to support organizations that strengthen the health and well-being of our community.
