Family Medical Center was proud to participate in this year’s Celebration of Children event at the Mall of Monroe, hosted by the CAN Council. The event welcomed families from across the community for a day dedicated to celebrating children, creativity, and connection. Community organizations lined the hallways with activity tables, offering fun interactions, resources, and encouragement for kids and parents alike. The event is designed to celebrate children while connecting families with supportive organizations across the community. Events like the Celebration of Children allow Family Medical Center to connect with families in a fun and supportive way while reinforcing the importance of health, confidence, and community support for our youngest generation. With a strong turnout, meaningful conversations, and lots of smiles, the day was filled with positive energy.
The FMC table quickly became a popular stop as children and families engaged with activities created by the Behavioral Health team. The positive affirmation activity also sparked meaningful conversations about confidence and self-encouragement.
